Private Consultations
In-person and/or remote
I support families in my consultation room in London N6 on the borders of Highgate/ East Finchley and Muswell Hill. There is easy parking and it is a 5 minute walk from East Finchley tube station on the Northern Line.
I also offer video sessions and remote care using email or WhatsApp.
Who I work with.
You may have sore or damaged nipples and need help with positioning and attachment. However, I am trained to cover a wide range of problems and challenges including breast refusal, milk supply concerns and supporting parents to re-lactate. I can support you with feeding twins and with combination feeding or bottle feeding.
I am a LGBTQ+ ally.
What to expect during the session.
A session may require my technical knowledge of breast and nipple problems and infant physiology or perhaps we may work together as a team to help you find solutions to parenting struggles such as weight gain problems, family sleep, changing relationships or the return to work.
A session of approximately 90 minutes costs £100. After this, we can settle on a pricing structure that we are both happy with. You may want more than one session. If you are on a low-income, I am happy to discuss different pricing with you.
When support is needed.
Our relationship can start before baby is born or at any stage of your breastfeeding experience.
You may also find it helpful to arrange a session antenatally where we can discuss your expectations for breastfeeding/chestfeeding or discuss and debrief any previous experiences. An antenatal meeting and two weeks of follow-up support via WhatsApp/ text once the baby is born would cost £150.
You can also join me for a Walk In The Woods (Highgate Woods) if you would like to talk about breastfeeding in a relaxed natural environment. A walk in the woods costs £40 for an hour and is particularly suitable to celebrate the end of breastfeeding, reflect on breastfeeding in pregnancy or make plans for weaning.
Video Consultations
After over three years of offering video support and remote support, I have been struck by how valuable it can be. It doesn't have to mean second best. I can see your baby swallowing. I can see you latch your baby up close at 2am,10am or 4pm. I will ask you to record your baby feeding and we will watch these videos together so you can gain a deeper understanding of what might be happening. A live breastfeed over a video call is just part of the story.
A video consultation costs £80 for up to an hour.
It is helpful if you have a camera that can be moved (like a phone or tablet) and if you have a second adult who can be your camera assistant. When you make a booking, I will send you a form asking for some background information and some further guidance on how we can make the call as effective as possible.

Your support network is really important and a second pair of eyes and ears can be handy. If they are available, I would always recommend that a partner attends an in-person session or online session. It is also possible to record online sessions so you can share them later. Your supporter might be a partner or other family member or close friend.
